Greendale Twi Nite is a youth sports and recreation organization committed to your privacy and safety. This Privacy Policy pertains to information collected by Greendale Twi Nite. This includes registration, player, guardian and attendance information as collected through such websites and online apps as www.twinitebaseball.com and other sites owned and operated by Greendale Twi Nite such as our official pages on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram as well as information received from other sources such as charter enrollment and player records reporting.

Greendale Twi Nite has implemented physical, electronic and managerial processes to safeguard the privacy of the information it obtains.
Advice to Children and Parents
We strongly advise children to get their parent(s) or guardian(s) to review any information they intend to transmit and get their permission before submitting any kind of personal data to anyone over the Internet. We urge parents to repeatedly discuss with their children the danger of giving personal information to anyone (online or in person) whom they don’t personally know. We also encourage parents and guardians to spend time online with their children monitoring and reviewing their children’s online activity. As a policy, no person under the age of 13 is permitted to register directly to receive Greendale Twi Nite’s electronic communications.
What personal information do we collect for our electronic database?
Greendale Twi Nite, parents to provide information related to players and coaches as part of our annual registration process on an annual basis. This information must include the date of birth of the player and parent or guardian in addition to address and contact information. Information provided must be verified by the organization annually. Submission of previous year information is not acceptable. A player, manager or coach must be listed be on the official data record of Greendale Twi Nite in order to be covered by Greendale Twi Nite Insurance.
Player, coach and director information is submitted electronically through the secure and encrypted “Greendale Twi Nite Website” on www.twinitebaseball.com.
How do we use personal information collected and received?
Information gathered by Greendale Twi Nite on this website, through the Player Registration and Coach/Manager registration process and/or by any other means, will be used for the purpose of furthering the mission of Greendale Twi Nite, Incorporated. Greendale Twi Nite, Incorporated does not sell any information collected from you to outside companies.
On occasion, we may provide special offers or services through Greendale Twi Nite, Incorporated and/or including discounts, sales and promotional offers by our league sponsors or other business associates. We also may use the information to fulfill your requests for information or products or to respond to your inquiries about our program. We sometimes use this information to communicate with you, such as to update you on new rules, regulations or risk management issues, ask your opinion through surveys and research, notify you that you have won a contest, or provide you with the latest news or updates.
The information you provide in connection with our website and email communications, online submissions and surveys, social media sites and communities is used to create an interactive experience. We may use this information to facilitate conversation and from time to time, offer you information, programs and services.

The data provided to Greendale Twi Nite is utilized by Greendale Twi Nite in ways including the following:
To catalog and record each individual player into a yearly listing of participants in the League program. These records are maintained in the League archives and for historical purposes. This information may also be used for operational issues that may arise with respect to eligibility of the participants in a local league program. To maintain a record of the coaches and managers involved in the program and their associated team and/or league. With express permission of the adult applicant, to run criminal background checks related to the safety and participation of any adult coach, assistant coach or volunteer. Information is used to provide seasonal training materials, to send the League marketing, recruitment and promotional tools during the season.
Email addresses provided to Greendale Twi Nite league Player Registration process by each player’s parent(s) or guardian(s), and coach and/or manager are incorporated into League’s electronic database for the current season. Individuals receive a welcome announcement and registration payment receipt and are offered the opportunity to “Opt-Out” with every subsequent electronic communication.
Household mailing addresses reported by leagues are occasionally used to provide information to those residents about our various programs including Select Leagues, Fall Ball and Summer Leagues. Should information be sent, it will be sent under the cover of “Current Resident” or “To the Parent or Guardian of Twi Nite Participant.” The privacy policy below describes our process for collecting and using email addresses of our constituents.
At Greendale Twi Nite, we collect information in addition to player registration data and coach/manager data in order to help identify you and/or your child’s interests in the Twi Nite program(s) and the associated League with which you may be affiliated. On our websites and through our various links to resources and information, you can read articles, view discussion boards, enter contests, participate in promotions, express your opinion, shop online or subscribe to our online portals, emails and newsletters. On occasion, we may ask for personal contact information from you for purposes such as:
- to provide you with information that you’ve requested based on your selected preferences upon Opt-In;
- to enable us to respond to your inquiry;
- to register you for a contest or promotion;
- or; for league operation and education.
You also have the opportunity to “Opt-Out” of any Twi Nite controlled electronic large group communication at any time by sending an email to at commissioner.twinite@gmail.com and typing.

As a youth sports organization Twi Nite reserves the right to use photos and images of players, games, practices and other events without payment of royalties, fees or other compensation. Unless permission is otherwise specifically requested and provided such images and promotional photos shall remain anonymous in their use and publication. Parents or guardians wishing to have their child(ren) image or photo removed from public display must specifically request so via email to commissioner.twinite@gmail.com. Parents and guardians should also be advised, the public and communal nature of league sports includes the likelihood that many parents, fans or other individuals will take and share photos of team games, practices, players and events. Exclusion and photo removal requests apply strictly to those photographs or images taken by a professional employed by Twi Nite. Twi Nite will seek to honor requests related to photos taken by other individuals but makes no guarantees, representations or warranties about or our ability to do so.
