Official Sweepstakes Rules 2023
These are the official rules and regulations governing the 2023 Twi Nite Volunteer & Player Appreciation Sweepstakes conducted between April 1st, 2023 and August 6th, 2023. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. Void where prohibited by law.
HOW TO ENTER: The Volunteer Appreciation Sweepstakes will officially open on April 1, 2023 at 8:00am and conclude on August 6th at 11:59pm. This sweepstakes is open to Greendale Twi Nite players, immediate family members, individual volunteers and volunteer teams only (herein after referred to as “volunteer”). Sweepstakes entries will be awarded based on volunteer fundraising efforts to benefit Twi Nite throughout the course of the season. One sweepstakes entry shall be awarded for each dollar raised or donated to benefit Twi Nite. This may include direct donations, the value of in-kind products or donations, sales or other fundraising activities on behalf of Twi Nite. Additional sweepstakes entries will be made available for volunteer time and social media referral(s) and promotion activities. One entry shall be awarded for each 15 minute increment of volunteer time provided to Twi Nite. Volunteer time may be recorded on a Volunteer time sheet and signed by a Twi Nite Coach or Director. Completed time sheets must be submitted to the Development Office via email: commissioner.twinite@gmail.com prior to July 29th, 2023 5:00pm CST. Assistance in promoting Twi Nite, sharing or “liking” Facebook messages will be awarded one sweepstakes entry, per instance. Promotional assistance, Facebook likes and other social media sharing entries must be recorded and presented to Twi Nite (via email at: commissioner.twinite@gmail.com) one week prior to the Sweepstakes deadline to receive credit. Individuals may also request to enter the sweepstakes without fundraising, volunteering or promotional activities by sending an email to commissioner.twinite@gmail.com. Entries by email request are limited to one per valid email address.
VOLUNTEER TEAMS: In addition to individuals, teams or groups of individuals may volunteer as a “team.” In such cases sweepstakes entries will awarded based on the aggregate fundraising or volunteer efforts of the entire team. Team entries may be in addition to individual volunteer entries.
ODDS: Odds of winning are based on the total number of sweepstakes entries.
ELIGIBILITY: The winner must be 18 years of age or older and a resident of the United States in a locale whose laws do not specifically prohibit such contests. In the event that the winner is under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian will be named winner in lieu of actual sweepstakes winner.
INDIVIDUAL PRIZES: The sweepstakes prizes include: (Grand Prize): a new Oculus VR gaming system, (2nd prize) DeMarini CF Zen Bat, (3rd prize) a DeMarini Bustos Bat, (4th prize) a Wisconsin Timber Rattlers Game Tickets, (5th prize) Milwaukee Wave tickets, (6th thru 10th prize) will each receive a DICK’S Sporting Goods $50 Bonus Cash Gift Certificate, (11th thru 15th prize) will each receive a DICK’S Sporting Goods $20.00 Bonus Cash Gift Certificate, (16th prize) will receive Lakeshore Chinooks tickets, (17thprize), Milwaukee Milkmen tickets, 18th prize will receive Ian’s Pizza gift certificates, 19th prize will receive a Portillo’s gift basket. In addition all sweepstakes prize winners will also receive complimentary 2023 Twi Nite registration fees.
TEAM PRIZES: The sweepstakes prizes for teams will include: (Grand prize) a $100 Noodle’s & Company Party Gift Certificate, (1st prize thru 5th prize) A Milk Can Diner party.
SELECTION OF WINNERS: The sweepstakes winners will be selected by random drawing on August 6th 2023. Greendale Twi Nite shall have the final decision on any and all claims concerning this sweepstakes and reserves the right to disqualify any sweepstakes contestant or entry if these rules are not followed. Sweepstakes winners need not be present at the drawing to win but will be required to accept the prize and present a positive identification for verification. Winners will be notified by telephone and/or email. A maximum of three (3) total messages (phone and/or email) will be left or sent to any winner. Winners must reply to Greendale Twi Nite within seven (7) calendar days of the initial notification or an alternate winner will be selected for that prize. Prizes must be claimed within two months (2) or sixty days (60) of notification or they will be considered “declined” and awarded to an alternate winner. Sweepstakes alternate winners will be selected at the time of the sweepstakes drawing. One alternate will be drawn for each prize awarded.
CONDITIONS ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAWS APPLY. THIS CONTEST IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. Potential winners must reside in a U.S. locale whose laws do not specifically prohibit such contests. The winner must be 18 years of age or older and a resident of the United States in a locale whose laws do not specifically prohibit such contests. In the event that the winner is under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian will be named winner in lieu of actual sweepstakes winner. Each winner will be required to sign a release and certify compliance with all rules before each prize will be awarded. Winners will be responsible for any applicable taxes or fees, insurance and any other charges or fees associated with acceptance of any prizes. Prize substitutions may be made due to COVID-19 business closures or other restrictions which prohibit timely delivery of the prizes outlined. Winners shall release Greendale Twi Nite from responsibility and/or liability regarding the prize, condition or use of any prize awarded. The winner acknowledges and accepts sole responsibility for any balance due and all additional charges relating to any enhancements, upgrades or modifications to the prize requested by the winner. The rules of this sweepstakes shall be governed by the applicable laws of the State of Wisconsin. Participation in this sweepstakes constitutes the prize winner’s consent to use of name, image and likeness in association with promotional and marketing efforts on behalf of Twi Nite. This includes but is not limited to; photography and video taken during awards ceremonies, travel photo’s, social media updates and news announcements.
