Parade Instructions and Procedures
All players and coaches that are participating in the pregame parade must follow these instructions:
All players and coaches must be in uniform and have a game ticket. Coaches should wear either a team coaches’ shirt or a shirt with the organizations name on it.
Please note, a maximum of three (3) uniformed coaches (team shirt and/or hat) per team will be allowed to accompany the team. The Challenger division teams are the only teams that will be allowed more than three coaches. This item is critical, as we have a set amount of time to complete the parade and want to ensure that all Little League players can participate in this unique opportunity.
To expedite the entry process, please give each player their ticket to hand to the usher for scanning upon entry of the ballpark. Coaches should not hold the tickets, as this will slow down the entry procedure.
Do not enter the park and look for the meeting point inside. Each team must be lined up on the right field plaza and pedestrian bridge which is on the outside of the entry gates by 5:15pm on June 25th. This is earlier than prior years because changes to security mandated by MLB have caused the time to get through the security process to increase slightly. Signs indicating where to line up will be posted for each league. Players or coaches that arrive late and discover that their team has already left the plaza area should proceed to the end of the line.
The last few years we have had issues with players and coaches stopping during the parade to take pictures or to talk to players. Obviously, if everyone did this, we would have problems completing the parade on time which would be a problem. Please do not stop during the parade. No exceptions please. We ask for your cooperation with this request so we can keep the parade moving.
